Author Visit
What To Expect
The Mixed-Up Milky Way Author Visit brings the wonders of space to life through an engaging, interactive experience. Children will enjoy a short interactive video featuring the author with Orion and Nebula, two beloved characters from the book, followed by a read-aloud of Mixed-Up Milky Way. Along the way, they will discover exciting facts about space, asteroids, and the asteroid belt.
The children will be divided into small groups and rotate through each station. During the rotations, The Mixed-Up Milky Way song will play, I will sign books or posters at the author table, and the children will take photos with Orion. Once everyone has visited each station, the event will conclude with a farewell, and the children will leave with a signed poster and a small goodie bag.
In a dedicated event space 4 stations will be set up for interactive and imaginative play. Three of the stations will be at three separate tables.
